Biography
Ethilde Kuwa is a Lecturer in Tourism Management at the Namibia University of Science and Technology. She holds a National Diploma in Tourism Management, a B.Tech in Tourism Management, a Master Degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business, complemented by additional qualifications in Marketing, Sustainable Tourism, and Paralegal Studies.
She has extensive industry experience in Customer Service, Marketing and Sales, Reservations, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events), Tour Planning and Guiding, Tourism Development, Sustainable Tourism Management, and Ecotourism. Her research interests include Sustainable Tourism, Ecotourism, Community-Based Tourism (CBT), Air Transportation, Experience Economy, and Destination Marketing.
Ethilde has contributed significantly to teaching, curriculum development, community engagement, and policy relevant research that supports tourism transformation and inclusive growth. She has over 20 years of experience in the Tourism, Travel, Hospitality, and Aviation industries.
