Biography
I am Tjara Kaputu-Kavihuha, an accomplished academic and dedicated educator with over 13 years of distinguished service in the Department of Communication. Currently serving as a lecturer, I have demonstrated exceptional commitment to higher education through a progressive career path that began as a tutor at the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST), by then the Polytechnic of Namibia, advancing to junior lecturer, and ultimately to my current position as a Lecturer. My academic pursuit is that I am currently pursuing a PhD in Applied Linguistics, reflecting my deep commitment to advancing scholarly knowledge in language studies and communication. This ongoing doctoral research complements my extensive academic background and enriches my teaching practice with cutting-edge theoretical and practical insights. My professional impact is that throughout my 13-year tenure, I made significant contributions to the academic community at NUST, mentoring students, developing curriculum, and fostering excellence in communication studies.
