Biography
Dr. Nico Sisinyize is an expert in policy development and analysis, with extensive academic and professional experience in the fields of educational planning, administration, and development. He lectures at postgraduate level, teaching courses such as Public Law and Policy in Education, Educational Planning and Administration, Programmes and Projects in Education, Research Methodology, and Mini Thesis supervision. His academic portfolio further extends into Development Studies and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), where he integrates governance, sustainability, and community-centred development principles into teaching and practice. As a seasoned researcher and supervisor, he has guided numerous postgraduate students in developing rigorous, policy-relevant research, especially in areas related to public service delivery, institutional effectiveness, and sustainable community development. His work is grounded in participatory approaches, evidence-based planning, and a strong commitment to shaping responsive and accountable education systems in Namibia and beyond.
