Biography
Martha Namutuwa is a Human Resources Management Lecturer in the Department of Governance and Management at the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST), where she also served as the Acting Director for the Cooperative Education Unit. She has over 12 years of professional experience in Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) and employability programme coordination, as well as academic and industry partnership engagement management, training, and leadership. Her career background further includes industry experience in human resource management, microfinance credit and sales management, and customer relationship management within the local banking sector. She is currently pursuing a Doctoral in Business Administration, she holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management, a Management Development Programme Diploma, a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education, a bachelor’s degree in human resources management, a National Diploma in Human Resources Management, and a Bachelor of Economics. Her professional interests and passion lie in collaboration, research, learning and development, and strategic partnership engagement. She has successfully coordinated and managed two international projects fostering collaboration between industry and partner universities. Spend five months in Germany developing an employability improvement course as a staff exchange under the Voice of Business project.
